The Overton Park Junior Open kicked off this morning, and it was great to see the golf course humming with the golfers of the future. It's a promising looking field and should be a fun week.

Park Friends is the only non-profit group in Memphis dedicated to providing a community voice to all our public parks. We are a Midtown-based group that focus our volunteer efforts on Overton Park, the grand old park of the Memphis, but speak out on park issues facing the entire community.
